This is a high-level overview of our path toward launch. The team resources page lists the tools we use.

Bold items are critical to launching

Current phase: Q2 ending 2020-06-30

  • Define our priority decisions for Bylaws (co-op structure and more)
  • Update our forum process for Sociocracy-style consent-agreements (and put to use consistently)

Community and outreach


For later phases up through beta launch

  • Bylaws in place
    • With legal help, get full draft written up
    • Approve Bylaws formally (vote by initial co-op membership [how defined?])
    • Adjust governance procedures etc. to follow Bylaws going forward
  • Legal review of site policies
  • Clarity about legal relations and liabilities with outside projects
  • Solidify team governance, roles, and working process (Sociocracy adaptations etc)

  • CiviCRM setup
    • Overall setup for tracking outside donors, volunteers, potential projects, and advisors etc.
    • Import old database
    • Set up access for team members to use

  • Security and auth-management audit and best-practices implementations
