Forum update emails
We primarily use our community forum at https://community.snowdrift.coop.
By default, forum members get a weekly activity digest and are also set to watch the major announcements subcategory. Everyone can otherwise adjust notifications per-category, per-tag, and per-topic.
Other communication and activity notifications
We also have some focused discussion on the tasks/issues at GitLab and do more casual semi-real-time, open-ended chat at our IRC/Matrix channel.
We may make a separate announcements-only mailing list in the future, and if we do, we’ll mention it here.
